Go 15mm for cardio and fixed machines, 30mm for heavy dropped weights or rooms above other rooms, and 43mm for dedicated lifting platforms and drop zones. 43mm — platforms and drop zones
Maximum impact absorption for the hardest-working part of the floor.
- Home: rarely needed wall to wall — a deadlift corner if you pull heavy.
- Garage: deadlift and Olympic-lifting zones.
- Commercial: Olympic platforms, drop zones and upper-floor gyms that need the most impact absorption available.
