Simple Installation

Prepare

Acclimatise the rubber tiles for 24hrs prior to installation. Carefully clean the installation area removing any debris.
Lay Tiles

Tiles should be laid in a half-brick pattern which allows for easier compression and achieving straight lines.
Set Up in Rows

Cut the first tile in half to 50cm and add the rest of the tiles to complete the first row. Start the second row with a full tile, compressing it to the wall, and add the next tile.
Finalize and Compress

Finish the last row, then squeeze all tiles together. Push the ruler down to pop in the tile, noting the last tile will be 10mm longer than measured.

I am converting a room in the house into a gym. It currently has carpet with underlay then floorboards. What sort of sub floor do you recommend in this case?. The room is about 16m2: Thank you for your recent enquiry. Gym flooring is recommended to be installed on a solid subfloor rather than on top of a carpet. If installed on a carpet with a quality underlay, you would experience downward deflection of the product perimeter when weight is applied, resulting in an uneven floor covering. We would have to recommend uplifting the carpet, underlay and the gripper rod from the perimeter and installing on the solid subfloor. I have a sloped garage floor, can these tiles be used on it, or would it need to be levelled first?: Hi there, Many thanks for your question. If the subfloor is flat, the tiles can be installed directly. It would mean however, that any equipment would be sitting on a slope. No, we accept all volume orders, big or small.

Most of our products are in stock which means shipping takes around 7-10 working days, including the total including processing time.

Can I collect my order?

Yes we offer collections from our Glasgow warehouse although we would require to make arrangements for this to prepare your order. Please contact us on info@marcias.co or 08004647115 to organise your collection stating your order number.

How is my order packaged?

Tiles and rolls are shrink-wrapped for protection and delivered on pallets to kerbside. Please ensure there are people available for receiving orders. For wood flooring orders over 60-100m2 at least 2 people will be required to offload the material. To minimise on waste, wood flooring will arrive fully sealed on pallets but free from packaging.
